General admission tickets are now sold out. We’ll be issuing a second block of free tickets very soon. If you’re interested, please fill out this form . We’ll let you know as soon as possible if a space is available for you (April 2nd at the latest).

The remaining block of tickets which will be offered to individuals by the Metronauts stewards, with an eye toward making sure we have a diverse mix of people from different parts of town with different transportation habits. We still especially want more people who live outside the former city of Toronto. People with great session ideas are, of course, also who we’re looking for.

Metronauts Transit Camp is an unconference about the future of transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. An unconference is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment.  All attendees are participants, not observers.  Participants are encouraged to propose topics for discussion, lead sessions, and/or take notes or otherwise document the event.

Transit Camp Pledge

The Transit Camp framework works best when everyone plays by a few simple rules. By registering and participating in Metronauts Transit Camp, you are agreeing to abide by the following principles:
  1. Participation is expected and should emerge according to one's individual gifts, inclinations and inspiration. The sum of everyone's contributions is greater than our individual parts.
  2. Transit Camp is a solutions playground, not a complaints department. Have a solution-oriented positive attitude with you at all times and enforce this behaviour in others.
  3. You agree that all materials (text, photography, videos, etc.) and design artifacts created at the event shall be covered by a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-Share-Alike license.
  4. Respect your fellow participants and work towards the event's goal.
This Pledge, as with all things at the event, is enforced by community action.
